Q. What animals do you provide services for?
Generally I provide feeding and visiting services for cats, however I’m open to providing services for any small animals including, rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, Contact me to find out if I can help you and your pet.
Q. Do you offer dog walks?
I now work full time so no longer offer dog walking services, only feeding and visiting services for cats and other small animals.
Q. Do you offer out of hours walking or home visits?
Please contact me to find out if I am able to accommodate your specific request.
Q. How do I arrange payment?
You can choose to pay by Cash, Paypal or by BACS payment. Payment is to be made in advance of the service (and the customer can be sent an invoice if requested).
Q. What is your cancellation policy?
I require 48 hours’ notice of any cancellation, otherwise the service will be chargeable. In the event of you cancelling services, if cancellation occurs with less than 48 hours, you will pay the fee for the service agreed. See 5.1 Cancellations in T&Cs for more information. If more than 48 hours notice is given, no fee will be payable by you.
Q. What does a Welcome Meeting with Happy Paws Glasgow involve?
Before I take on you and your pet as customers, I will visit you at your home where I’ll have the opportunity to meet you and your pet, and you will get to meet me and ask me any questions you may have. I will discuss your pet and his/her behaviours and I may take your dog out for a ‘test walk’. Once I am happy, then I will ask that you read/sign disclaimer forms which is for insurance purposes.
Q. What do you do in the case of emergency?
In the first instance I will contact you. If your pet requires medical attention then I will transport your dog safely to the vet assigned by you at the Welcome Meeting. I hold all of these contacts and address details securely with me at all times as well as your dedicated emergency contact details in the event of you being uncontactable.
Q. How do you keep my keys safe?
Your keys are kept safe in a security lock-box which has a combination code. All keys have a coloured fob, with only a number which represents who’s key it belongs to. There are no address details on these fobs as all these details are stored on the Pet Sitter Plus booking system which only I have access to. Your details are secure and I adhere to this in accordance with the Data Protection Act.
Q. Do you offer overnight / boarding services?
I do not offer boarding services.
Q. What does your insurance cover?
I have Public Liability Insurance which covers keys. I am also fully disclosure checked, I am Canine First Aid certified and I have a Boarding license provided by Glasgow City Council. All of my certifications for the above can be seen by you at the Welcome Meeting.
